Who is Wild Schar

Hello I am Angie; the founder of Wild Schar.

I've always been avid about being outdoors since childhood. I love to camp, backpack, bike, hike, photograph, kayak, and forage. I truly believe being in the woods brings peace and contentment for everybody. There is a wonderful feeling when connecting with nature on this level.
Because of this I took two courses to become certified in forest bathing to help share with others how to feel more at peace, rejuvenated, and centered.
I also have my Wilderness first aid training, and American Red Cross CPR/first aid training.

What is Forest Bathing?

Forest Bathing is a special type of walk through the forest, we will move slowly with a purpose. There is stops for meditation, grounding, and feeling the energy of the forest around us. You will learn how to tune into the energy and beauty the forest has to provide. We will turn off our phones, and be present in the moment.
The pace goes with the slowest person, so no one feels rushed. The trails I use have only slight elevation gains, so its easy for everyone.
I will never force anyone to do what they are not comfortable with, which includes but no limited to, barefoot walking, sampling fresh filtered water, hugging the trees, and simple poses.

Scientific data shows benefits of forest bathing
